2.2.2 Locomotion as a sequence of geometric figures parallel to the plane representing the floor of the stage

Upright locomotion such as walking can be represented geometrically.

The position of the feet are represented by four-sided figures in or just above the plane of the floor.

The position of the hips are represented by a line in a plane parallel to but above the floor.

We can add the position of the shoulders by another line in a plane parallel to but above both the floor and the plane for the hips.

The head, at the level of the eyes, can be represented by a rectangle, where two of the corners represent the eyes, and the middle of the opposite side is connected to the spine.
